Zebras in Central Coast California

Just a few miles from Cambria, is San Simeon, or the land of William Randolph Hearst Castle and the adjoining grounds. Mr. Hearst had many animals on the grounds of the castle, including Llamas, Mountain elk, White fallow deer, tahr goats, Barbary sheep and Zebras. Today there are more than 120 Zebras roaming the grounds freely around pastures along Highway 1. We flew our drone over the pastures to discover a small group of Zebras grazing the pastures. I didn’t fly too low to bother them, but did attract a few birds mid flight. Enjoy the video.
