You don’t need to visit Hawaii to see the majestic Humpback Whale

We travel to Maui Hawaii every year, at least pre-covid, and one of our favorite past times is to go on a Whale Watching cruise to see the beautiful majestic Humpback Whales. The whales and their off spring are plentiful in the months of November thru April as the Humpbacks use the warm Hawaiian waters to give birth to their offspring. The babies or calves as their referred, have a chance to acclimate to their new lives before departing for their migratory trip back to Alaska and the calves have a chance to mature before being exposed to the cold Alaskan waters on their return migration trip. But Hawaii is not the only spot to catch a glimpse of the mighty leviathan, try Monterry California between mid April thru Mid Dec. We went end of April last year and had a great time with the Humpbacks. Our tour guide was playing the theme from Jurassic Park and the Humpbacks soon surrounded our boat. Enjoy the video.
